352 people from the affected Mumbai High Platform have been rescued, further search and rescue operations are on in full swing.


July 28, 2005, 02.45 AM : Search and Rescue Operations

The search and rescue operation continues at Mumbai High, by deploying support and supply vessels, helicopters, Navy and Coast Guard aircrafts.

336 personnel have been rescued. Actions have been taken to mobilize medical aid immediately.

12 Offshore Supply Vessel and 2 Multi Support Vessels have been pressed into service for search and rescue operations.


July 28, 2005, 01.15 AM : As per latest information there were 385 people on the affected Mumbai High platform. Out of that, 336 personnel have already been rescued. Search operations are going on to rescue the remaining people.
